St Peter Claver College has a proud and rich history of co-curricular sport, offering a wide variety of activities for every student. From our inter-house Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics Carnivals, to our local inter-school Combined Ipswich Secondary Schools Sporting Association (CISSSA) competition with premiership winning schools, then moving into the Metropolitan District Competition. And finally, our elite sport specific competitions and carnivals.
Our Sport Program, in conjunction with our experienced coaching staff play an integral role in assisting athletes to represent the College at the District, Regional, State and National levels.

St Peter Claver College caters for the growing demand for both Futsal and Football in the Ipswich region. The College is in a prime position to provide students with a unique program that offers Futsal, along with Football, to help students develop both on and off the court.
Our programs are run by passionate staff who work closely with students to give them the best opportunity to represent their region, state and country. Throughout the year students have the chance to represent the College in a variety of tournaments, including:

Rugby League
St Peter Claver College has rapidly gained a reputation as a top class Rugby League college, largely due to its efforts in recent Confraternity Carnivals and Metropolitan District Competitions. To consolidate this reputation, it is important for us to continue to challenge ourselves and participate in the best competitions we can. The Rugby League Program strives to give all students an opportunity to be involved; we achieve this by being involved in a variety of competitions such as:
