The academic achievements of St Peter Claver College students during Semester 2, 2023 were celebrated at the College's Academic Honours Assembly.
On Wednesday 7 February 2024, 250+ awards were presented to Years 8-11 students for Academic Excellence and Academic Growth. These students all demonstrated an outstanding commitment to their studies in Semester 2, 2023.
High achieving 2023 Year 12 graduates were welcomed back to celebrate their success with the Claver Community.
- 2023 College Dux: Adrian Durana.
- 2023 Award for Academic Excellence (DUX Runner-Up): Harry Walker.
- ATAR High Achievers: Bianca Beahan, Henry Cook, Tealia Dominy, Adrian Durana, Angel Jacob, Maria Jacob, Keira James, My-Vi Le, Alyssa Loughman, Nina Ryan-Allen, Eylee Tessier, Tan Tan-Tham, Mary Rose Tyers, Harry Walker and Sammy Warburton.
Principal Bruce McPhee said, “I would like to congratulate all of our award winners. I encourage everyone to keep pushing yourself to further your academic growth and excellence."
Mr McPhee also said a special congratulations to the 2023 Year 12 ATAR High Achievers, noting that Adrian's ATAR score of 99.35 is currently the highest in Claver history. He looks forward to seeing our current Year 12s strive to push this number even higher.
